Follow Trades & Automated Bot – Guidelines, Setup & FAQs

Follow Trade Tutorial

0DTE USB Tutorial

Before you get started, I want to take a moment to clearly outline how Follow Trades and the Automated 0DTE Bot work, what the guidelines are, and what you should realistically expect—especially during this first month.

This is about consistency, discipline, and long-term execution. Not shortcuts.

FOLLOW TRADES GUIDELINES

Minimum account balance: $3,000
My trade size: Approximately $500 per trade
Maximum trades per day: 3 trades — hard stop
Risk management: 15% hard stop loss per trade

This approach is intentionally conservative. The goal is not to gamble or overtrade—it’s to execute proven strategies consistently and responsibly.

Because this is the first month of rollout, there may be:

Slight delays between my entry and yours

Small technical hiccups

Unexpected issues that come with launching new infrastructure

We have a full team monitoring everything closely, but patience is required early on. This is normal with any new system.

At any time, you are fully in control. You can:

Disconnect

Pause

Override trades

Cancel participation

That said, the recommendation is simple: let the system work and let me take the trades I take.

It’s also important to understand this clearly:
I am a day trader. Month-to-month performance will vary. I will have losing days. I will have losing weeks. Over time, the expectation is that you see the strategies we teach executed consistently in live market conditions.

AUTOMATED TRADING BOT (0DTE BOT) GUIDELINES

This is one of the first systems of its kind. Because of that, discipline matters even more here.

Strong recommendation:
Regardless of how many contracts you purchased, start with 1 contract per trade.

You can adjust position sizing inside your dashboard at any time, but starting small is the correct move—especially early on.

Recommended buying power per contract:

1 contract = $3,000

2 contracts = $6,000

3 contracts = $9,000

4 contracts = $12,000
…and so on

You ultimately control your account, but these amounts align with the exact strategies and risk management we teach.

Performance will vary. We have seen:

Month-long stretches of near-perfect execution

Multi-week stretches of drawdowns

We do not judge performance week to week. We evaluate month to month and year over year. Market conditions matter, and no trading system performs the same in every environment.

What matters is that this bot is monitored daily and improved continuously by our team.

You can pause, add funds, withdraw funds, increase or decrease contracts at any time. You are always in control.

ACCOUNT SETUP OVERVIEW

Follow Trades

You must open a Level 2 cash account through Tradier

Once your Tradier account is set up, it will be linked to my host account automatically

You do not need to manage reconnections or ongoing setup after that

Automated Bot

Within 24 hours of purchase, you’ll receive login instructions for your dashboard

Inside the dashboard, you’ll find a walkthrough video showing you how to:

Navigate the platform

Connect your Thinkorswim account

Adjust contract quantity and position sizing

Important note: Thinkorswim disconnects all automated systems every Friday at market close. This is their rule.

To stay connected, you must reconnect after Friday’s close.
What I personally do is set a recurring reminder for Sunday night or Monday morning and simply click “Reconnect” inside the dashboard.

As long as:

Your account is connected

Your contracts are active

Your position size is set correctly

The system will trade automatically.

If the bot does not trade on a given day, it means market conditions were not favorable. This typically happens 2–3 times per month. If trading is paused for maintenance or major updates, you will always be notified.

FINAL DISCLAIMER

Never trade or fund an account with money you cannot afford to lose.
There are no guarantees of performance.
This is provided for educational purposes and access to the strategies we teach, whether manually or through automation.

Stay patient. Stay disciplined. Trust the process.

We’re just getting started.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Can I disconnect, pause, or stop trading at any time?
Yes. You are always in control. You can disconnect, pause, override trades, or cancel participation at any time.

Should I intervene or override trades frequently?
We strongly recommend letting the system operate as designed. Manual interference often hurts results more than it helps, especially in fast-moving markets.

Is this fully automated or do I need to monitor it constantly?
Once properly connected and configured, the system runs automatically. You should still check in periodically to ensure everything is connected and sized correctly.

FOLLOW TRADES FAQ

Why is there sometimes a difference between your entry and mine?
Because trades are copied in real time, slight delays or price differences can occur due to liquidity, execution speed, or market volatility. This is normal.

How many trades will you take per day?
I will never take more than three trades per day. This is a hard rule.

What happens on losing days or weeks?
Losing days and losing weeks are part of day trading. Performance is evaluated over longer time frames, not day to day.

Can I change the trade size?
Yes. You can adjust settings on your end at any time. My personal trade size is approximately $500 per trade.

AUTOMATED 0DTE BOT FAQ

Why do you recommend starting with only 1 contract?
Because this system is powerful and fast-moving. Starting small allows you to understand behavior, execution, and drawdowns before scaling.

Can I increase contracts later?
Absolutely. You can increase or decrease contracts at any time inside your dashboard.

Why do you recommend $3,000 per contract?
That amount aligns with the strategies and risk management we teach. It provides enough buying power to handle volatility responsibly.

Why didn’t the bot trade today?
If the bot did not trade, market conditions were not favorable. This typically happens 2–3 times per month and is intentional.

What happens during drawdowns?
Drawdowns are part of all trading systems. We evaluate performance month to month and year over year—not day to day.

CONNECTION & TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

Why does Thinkorswim disconnect every Friday?
This is a Thinkorswim rule. All automated systems are disconnected at market close on Fridays.

How do I reconnect?
Simply log into your dashboard after Friday’s close (Sunday night or Monday morning works best) and click Reconnect.

What happens if I forget to reconnect?
The bot will not trade until the account is reconnected.

SUPPORT & EXPECTATIONS

Is performance guaranteed?
No. There are no guarantees. This is real trading in live market conditions.

Is this suitable for everyone?
No. Never trade or fund an account with money you cannot afford to lose.

How often is the system monitored or updated?
The system is monitored daily and improved continuously by our team.
